G-Rip Mentor Training Grips
This mentor training grip is an excellent practice tool for learning and reinforcing the mechanics and feel of proper hand placement on the club.
The mentor training grip gently guides the hands into the correct position ready for the swing. Please remember that it will feel strange, especially if you have been playing for a while and now have some bad habits to break. Persevering with a Mentor Training grip will help groove the correct hand positioning until it feels natural – the basics will be with you forever.
Following the tips below will help establish your new grip very quickly until it feels the like the only way to hold a golf club.
Tip – Fit the mentor training grip it to an old 7 iron
Then each day, swing the club in your back garden 25 times in the morning and 25 times in the evening, more if you want. The more you do the quicker it will feel good. You do not need to hit a ball, just get used to the position of your hands on the club and this in turn will improve your swing arc. After a short time you will be amazed at how quickly the correct grip will feel comfortable. In a few days take it to the practice range and hit some balls with it. You will notice and see the difference.
A famous Tour Pro once said “Its much better to have a perfect grip with a bad swing, than a perfect swing with a bad grip”.
When purchasing this product it is vital to have it fitted correctly and in the right position on the golf club, therefore, we strongly recommend that a qualified PGA Pro or Custom club maker should fit it for you
